I live in Victoria, BC Canada. I am currently working on a quilt organized by our quilting group. It is an Ugly Christmas Fabric row trade. 2 rows were made for each member of the group and randomly selected. I celebrate Chanukah thus they made special Chanukah rows for me – and so beautifully done. I am now putting the rows together for the grand showing on Monday along with a little party to celebrate.

I am “coming off of” a very badly knitted sweater neckline (ugh!) and didn’t want to frog it. So I got out fabrics (they make me so happy!) and started a baby quilt for my niece’s friend who lives up north where it is cold. It is interesting that this soon-to-be new mother doesn’t want to know the sex of the baby before the birth, so I am working in all sorts of pastels in yellow, green, white and lavender. I went to pinterest to get ideas for the quilt and then just started sewing away! Thanks for the great question! I love the green ornament- it is so darn cute!
