Here is my second entry into the Bloggers Quilt Festival and another pattern releasing next month…

Modern Love

I love scrappy quilts so this was lots of fun to design and piece.  I’m entering it in the Bloggers Quilt festival ROYGBIV group.

I hand quilted this quilt in big stitches of Perle cotton #8.  If you want to give big-stitch hand quilting a try – check out my

And if you are wondering what that dreamy gray fabric is… it’s Terra Australis by Ella Blue– Gray Bush Sticks.  I got it from The Hangar on etsy (see find fabulous fabrics for the link).  It’s the perfect gray… I love it!

lovely quilt, I love the big, bold nature of the blocks and the way they are made from strips.
