Sugar Creek Quilt Pattern ~ Bloggers Quilt Festival

I’m trying to avoid the I’m-not-at-quilt-market-pity-party by posting a couple new patterns coming out next month!  The first one in this post, linking to…

This is actually a ‘Proud Mama Moment’…  First let me tell you that my blog is named after my daughters (Holly Rebecca and Emma Mae) – I know, wasn’t that nice of me?  I don’t even get mad when everyone calls me Rebecca – (hind sight is 20/20).  Holly caught the quilting bug and decided to design her own quilt…  It all started with some graph paper and colored pencils.  She designed… I wrote, and she pieced and bound this beauty!  (She binds like a pro I might add… not like my first bindings… but I’m not a hater so kudos to her!)

Here she is on her first ‘quilt photo shoot’ –

the wind was not on our side that day…

Great design, it really shows off the feature fabrics, and I love that it’s inspiring a new generation of quilters!

That’s great! My quilt designs usually start with graph paper and coloured pencils too :)
