As an ongoing project I make lined tote bags. I use denim (recycled jeans), cottons (recycled shirts, etc) , and ‘on sale’ remnants for pieces, and embellish with buttons, beads, buckles, etc. I then donate totes to local charity groups for fund raising. The opportunity to win fabric pieces from your stash would add variety to the totes I make as well as add fun to my evening sewing time. I love the ideas I get from all that you post and have you on my ‘favorites’ list for quick access every morning.

We’re famous for our crabs:) I do believe this is the first year I’ve made a quilted ornament, used my selvages to hang ’em with. A local dog rescue/shelter is seeking the “thunder” jackets for doggies to keep them calm during storms so I’m stitching up a few of those. Really using some ofmy cotton scraps for this (no glittery stuff or polyesters as they may have allergies too). Also stitching kennel quilts w/donated orphan blocks or my scraps. I enjoy puling those colors or designs together and thinking how much comfort it will bring to an abandoned doggie awaiting adoption. Decided to make seasonal pillows for my 2 adult kiddo’s and their household, thus far I’ve completed Christmas and Winter, 2 pillows each @ 20X20. thank you for sharing in SMS Day.
