Day one is here! And so is the first quilt project in Text It! Meet Bee Happy :)

There are three fun things about this quilt that give it a little extra Happy Vibe – For starters I used some crochet trim in yellow (happy color) which ads some whimsy and the little applique circles are stuffed from the back so they have a little happy puff.

And we can’t forget the wool bee…

Today, there are two very talented quilters to sharing their Happy creations!

Sharon Lilabelle Lane Creations

Sharon is coming to you from Australia where there is obviously no shortage of gorgeous fabric! Her Bee Happy Quilt is the sweetest. Here is a sneak peek at her project. Be sure to go see her quilt and all the gorgeous photos. If you like english paper piecing you need to check out her patterns page! You can also find her pretty projects on instagram… and we can’t forget to mention that red pom pom trim! love it!

Pamela Morgan – My Sweet Little Stitches

Pam and I met in Chicago at Sew Pro in 2016 (where does the time go?) and even though she’s out in Utah and I’m in Massachusetts we somehow managed to stay in touch through social media. She’s very talented in art, quilting, and photography! I was lucky enough that she was available to photograph my quilts for me! You’ll get to see some of her photography and quilting during the hop and I can’t wait to share! It’s her day on the hop and she has also made the Bee Happy quilt! It’s almost as if she shopped right in my stash – selecting all the fabrics that I love so much! She blogs at My Sweet Little Stitches and you can also find her fun instagram feed under SweetLittleStitches.

  1. Hi Sherri! I am so excited for the blog hop! I pinned your cute photo. I have followed you for years on instagram because you are wonderful, and it is easy to leave a happy comment because your designs, colors, and cute techniques bring a smile to my face:) Thank you for the give away! -Tracy❤️❤️❤️

      1. I am participating in your Dear Diary Quilt. Adore the messages in fabric. Just pinned your image. Excited to be part of this blog hop this week.

  2. I follow you on Pinterest, Instagram & Facebook – just pinned the photo to Pinterest. When I saw the trim that you added, I had to take a closer look because at first I thought it was tatting. When I make this, I will find a piece of tatting to use in my Grandma’s supplies (that I inherited after she passed). It’ll help bring back sweet memories every time I look at it. – Elaine

  3. Sherri – Pinned this wonderful quilt and I can’t wait to make it! It will hang in my sewing room to remind me to “choose” to be happy everyday. My happy comment today is……SEW thankful for a hubby to remove all this snow and I just get to “play” in my sewing room! You are such an inspiration! And…..now following you on Instagram. – Rhonda

  4. Pinned and following! Love your patterns and posts! Happy thought – today in Fairview, Texas, it’s the coldest it’s been all winter, so it’s a perfect day for staying inside and quilting!

  11. Morning… This is a great book, it goes right along with my “literacy quilt” idea… like the bright happy colors and fanciful designs. I don’t do Instagram or or any of those other things but I’m going to forward your email to my quilting and sewing friends… think they’ll see many possibilities, just like I did. Looking forward to the blog hop
