Merry ‘KissMoose’?

Remember last year when I posted about starting my first embroidery pattern? No?  Well, you’re not the only one who forgot… I did to!  Oh as usual I had good intentions of stitching right along but, I got busy and you know how that goes!  I finally got back around to it and it’s FINISHED!  I ordered a 2.5″ charm pack go around the embroidery and make a pillow – the fabric line is called ‘In from the Cold’ by Kate Spain – I absolutely love it!!!- matter of fact I’m making a mental note to get more!

My very dear friend, and Swedish American Artist, Karen Forsman Wakem did the Artwork for this design.  I’m IN LOVE with my KissMoose!

I had so much fun with this pattern… sometimes I forget how relaxing it is to stitch by hand.  For me it’s the perfect time of year in New England… with the nights getting crisper and soon, a fire in the fireplace and the smell of Autumn in the air  – I feel so cozy just thinking about it!  I am itching to start the next embroidery project!

  1. That is absolutely adorable. I LOVE it. I love the old Santas. Years ago I used to buy the plaster forms of the old fashioned Santas and hand paint them. Sadly, I gave them all away along with an entire hand painted Christmas Village as well. Oh I wish I had kept at least one of the Santa statues for myself. They were each about 14 inches high and turned out just amazing. I hope you are keeping this pillow for yourself.

    1. Vicki, I actually rarely keep anything for myself! But this IS one of the things that I am keeping so it’s funny you mentioned it! I can’t believe you gave your village away… But sometimes when I’m in ‘purge’ mode i go overboard and I have regrets too! Lol
