My Modern Montana Quilt Pattern is available!

You might remember this post back along when I posted about the Montana quilt.  I got so many super nice comments (smile) and inquiries (insert gratitude) that  I finally had a chance to get down to writing and testing the pattern!

Thanks to everyone that inquired about this quilt.  I’m so happy with how the pattern came out and I hope you love it too!  It’s all traditionally pieced and constructed row by row… it’s really fun.  I’d love to do another version… scrappy? solids? Maybe a quilt a long? Anybody in?

I’m giving away a printed pattern and quilt label…

I designed the quilt label in spoonflower… find the tute here if your interested in making your own!

  1. This quilt is perfect. I love it just as it is! Sure, I would be interested in a quilt-a-long. I know I won’t “keep up”, but I enjoyed your Scrap Happy quilt tutorials so much, and I’d love to try this one.

  2. WOW! WOW! WOW! Absolutely gorgeous! It is too cool for school (but I would love a quilt a long).

  3. Congrats! Your quilt is beautiful and very “cool”! I’m always interested in a QAL! I had fun and learned a lot with your last one! I like the colors you used. I would probably just swap out the bright orange for a blue teal or aqua color.

  4. I really like your pattern but I think it’s too much orange for me. I would have to change that, probably blues and greens.

  5. Hi there!DOn’t take this this wrong way, but I had never seen your blog or your quilts until yesterday. I was searching on etsy just to find some modern quilt inspiration for the back of a quilt, and this pattern came up! Oh my gosh! I was immediately obsessed with it and ended up buying it right then. I printed it out here at work and I’ve not been getting anything done here except daydreaming of and planning for this quilt! haha I absolutely love the pattern and the colors. I think, so far at least, I’m going tostick with grey in the middle, but a lighter grey…and have a dark mustard yellow instead of orange, as well as some teal. Beautiful quilt! Thank you! (I love all your other ones too now that I’ve found your site!)
