Hello Quilters and Happy Spring!
I’ve been behind on my posting… but my She’s Like a Rainbow quilt is finished! This was my 2023 quilt along (video series) and is now available as a PDF download in my shop.
Here is where it began in the photo above. This is my center star and I used primarily Tula fabrics from my stash. The quilt is a medallion style quilt and it incorporates both piecing and applique… working with dresdens, circles, partial seams and other techniques. It’s a great skill builder quilt!
You’ll see in the slideshow below that I’ve been enjoying this quilt on the bed… but I still need to find time (and good weather) to get a good full shoot of it :) Also… you know I love adding pearl cotton to my quilts and I’ve added some pearl cotton stitches to the binding too and I love it!!
Last month I ran into my friend Barbara at our guild quilt show and she brought her quilt to show me!! I might like hers even more! She used fabrics from her Tilda stash…. GORGEOUS!!!

I finally finished She’s Like a Rainbow!!! Well, I finished piecing it a while ago, but finally got it quilted (thank you Charity @luluandhazel for always doing a beautiful job) and now it’s labeled and hemmed!!! It has to be one of my favorites! Thank you, Sherri for a fun project! I love the addition of the pearl cotton to your projects!
