block of the month

Happy 4th of July to those here in the states!  I’ve  moved on to the next row in my Power of Nine Quilt and finished block 7…

I’m on the third row now…

This is one of my favorite blocks in this quilt… It goes together quick and it’s just a fun block!  When I started this quilt I was working from a bunch of Tula fabric that I was hoarding… and I wasn’t going to buy any more, but then true colors came out and I just couldn’t resist!  I am so weak!  but in my defense, I really needed more blue! :)  The dark blue fabric and the lazy stripe fabric are from the new collection… very dreamy.
