Block 8 ~ Power of Nine

I’ve got block 8 done for my Power of Nine scrappy tula quilt.  I love these blue colors…

Since I’m using a quilt-as-you-go method for my quilt I got my block all quilted… check out the quilt as you go part 1, part 2, and part 3 if you want to try this method.
I used my walking foot to stitch in the ditch and a chalk pencil for marking any lines I needed…

and I did a little free motion (circles) in the center and then added some little petals around the curves…
