Today I have Chapter 5 of the Dear Daughter Quilt and a Fabric Giveaway to share!

First, here’s a look at my Chapter 5 of the Dear Daughter Quilt!

Make Time ~ For Yourself

I was working on this months chapter at a quilt retreat and accidentally made one of my blocks too small!  Apparently I was talking too much… One of the quilters at my table suggested I make a pin cushion out of it!  I took her advice and I think it came out pretty darn cute!

I stitched around the perimeter with Aurifil 12 wt thread.  You can see it better on the bottom…

I love it!

Quilters are so generous… two of the quilters at the retreat brought a tote of their stash and let me dig through it! I scored the green for my flower, AND the orange for the text… yup!

LOVE!  And also… the fun little elephant fabric on one of the leaves on the vine!

Generous right?  And now I have a fun memory of the quilt retreat sewn into the quilt! :)
