Welcome to Day 2 of the Text It! Blog Hop! Today I’m sharing The Infinity Quilt. This quilt was designed as a wedding gift for my daughter Holly. Needless to say that this quilt is pretty special!
Before the quilting, I added a some decorative running stitches to my infinity symbols using Aurifil 12 weight thread to add a little hand touch.
There are 6 infinity symbols designed to lay across the bed. My symbols have the happy couples names and wedding date.
These amazing quilt photos were taken by my friend Pam over at My Sweet Little Stitches. Personally, I think they are pretty dreamy and romantic.

Laura Piland – Slice of Pi Quilts
In 2017 I went to Spring Quilt Market and met Laura. She was giving out mini peach ‘pi’es, and I was hungry (haha) The pie was delicious and I became a fan of her quilts too. Her previous career as a math teacher and her last name, Pi-land, lends itself perfectly to being the designer behind Slice of Pi Quilts. Very clever if you ask me! Leanne Parsons – DevotedQuilter.com
Leanne joins us from Canada! She enjoys blending her faith and love of quilts on her website, Devoted Quilter. You can also find her on Etsy where she sells her quilt patterns – which happen to be on sale this week! I can only imagine what this meant to your daughter. I love the idea of the infinity symbol for a wedding gift. I liked the Love and Soul Mate versions too. This book offers amazing possibilities!
